Treasure in Vietnam

In this world, I believe that everything happens for a reason, and so do meetings and partings.

Therefore, I will introduce you to the treasures I met in Vietnam.

This is Alya and Angga. They are friends who come from the same university but have different majors from me. Although we are from the same university, they and I have not met at all, so this program is our first meeting.

It's like Alya and I have a connection with people who have been friends for more than 10 years. Alya is a physics major, so I guess she likes things that can be solved clearly and logically. The treasure you can find in Alya is her wisdom, maybe this is all because of her roller-coaster life background and experiences. If you meet Alya you can tell that she is a good person, I can guarantee it.

Next was Angga, the first time I met Angga he was really quiet and didn't talk much. He just followed what Alya, and I did and told him to do. But after getting to know Angga better, I know that he is very smart, too smart that sometimes I can't catch the meaning of his jokes. However, Angga is a very good cook. I can guarantee that if Angga doesn't become a teacher he can immediately open a food stall or something like that and it will sell well.

Meet my friends from UII-Yogyakarta, Indonesia! When I joined this program, I did not know that there would be other delegates from Indonesia placed at Dong Thap University. I will introduce them, from the far left there are Naufal, Eji, Angga, Alya, Rifka, and Salma.  Apart from Alya and Angga, the four people in the photo are friends from UII. Without them, I think Tia's Journey at Sea Teacher would be bland.

Getting to know them was like getting sunshine after a long, pleasant rain. Naufal with his tour guide skills that amazed me, Eji with his ability to wrap memories in videos, Rifka with her laugh that I always remember, Salma with her extensive knowledge, and also, I learned makeup from her. Thank you for spending time with me in Vietnam guys!

These are my friends from the Philippines, we also met for the first time in this program. They were the first Filipinos I met. They are very kind and very friendly. They open their hearts and radiate a positive aura that makes me always comfortable around them. From them, I learned a lot about the Philippines, from the language, songs, culture, movies, and so on. Their personalities are very diverse but warm and unifying. Thank you, God, for bringing me together with such great people! mahal ko kayo!

Meet my roomies, Key and Jul. Knowing them is really like destiny for me. When I first met them, I already felt a 'click' with each other. They are really nice and treat me like a friend, sister, and daughter :D

Jul is reflective of an independent woman. But after you get to know Jul better, you will see that Jul is a very warm and loving person. Jul and I have the same taste in many things, especially songs <3

Key and I are like Tom and Jerry, we mock each other and love each other at the same time. I think that's our love language :D I feel very touched every time Key applies oil on my back, I really feel like a child being cared for by her mama ;b

I usually call them Mama Key and Mama Jul, they really take care of me like their own child. This is the first time I've ever felt cared for in such a way. Even while writing this, I miss them so much. I'm so lucky to know them, I hope we can meet again, and I'll be the flower girl at your wedding :D

These are my buddies and friends from Laos. Actually, there are many buddies who are not in the picture, but it's okay because you are always in my memory. I would like to thank my buddies and friends from Laos for helping us so much. It's nice to meet good people like you, I hope we can meet and hang out again!

These are Mr. Truc and Ms. Mai.

Mr. Truc was really like our father during our time in Vietnam. He took care of us and gave us advice like a father. Ms. Mai was the first person I met when I arrived in Vietnam. She is very beautiful and cheerful. She also really liked the song Wa E Wa E O - Yovie. In addition, I would like to thank Ms. Anh and Mr. Tien who helped and looked after us during our stay in Vietnam.

This is my supervisor, Ms. Nhung. She is very beautiful and elegant. She helped and guided me a lot during my time at DThU and Future School. She always monitored and gave me advice regarding my lesson plan and demo teaching. I feel very helpful with her presence. Thank you very much, Ms. Nhung! <3

These are my friends from History! They helped me a lot during my time at DThU. Although there are difficulties in communication due to language differences, we can still help each other and talk. They also came to support me when I did my demo teaching at Future School. They are very warm and friendly! I am so happy to know them! Thank you, guys! Historia Magistra Vitae!
